The files in this directory are updates and patches
to the eata_dma driver in the Linux standard kernel
distribution.

EATA-IDE.patch.gz 
  is a patch that enables the IDE 
  driver to correctly handle the EATA Host Bus Adapter.
  This can become neccessary, since the EATA HBAs look
  like simple ST-506 interfaces to the outside world.

EISA.patch-1.2.8.gz 
  updates the driver with a workaround for the PM2012B, 
  which has severe firmware problems. Some boards seem
  to work with it, others don't. I'm still working on it.
       
eata_dma.xxx.tgz 
  The most recent snapshot of the driver.
  This driver needs the latest "merged.patch" from the
  ../upcoming-1.3 directory.
