This is the first ALPHA release of The Linux Sound User's Guide.  I am
hoping that this will become one of the Linux Documentation Project
books.

The following files are included:

sound-alpha-1.README        this file
sound-alpha-1.lsm           Linux Software Map entry
sound-alpha-1.ps.gz         compressed PostScript file
sound-alpha-1.dvi.gz        compressed DVI file
sound-alpha-1.tar.gz        LaTeX source for document

You can send the PostScript file to a printer to make a hardcopy or
view it using Ghostview. All of the LaTeX source is included if you
want to regenerate the output in some other format.

I invite any comments on how to improve the document, or even a note
of thanks if you found it useful.
